ABOUT THE BAND

The Band Solstice is an Indie-Rock quintet from Knoxville, TN. The band was formed in 2019 by all 5 original members during early high school. The Band Solstice’s sound draws influences from folk-rock staples like Wilco, Dawes, Mt. Joy and Dr. Dog among others. In 2022 they put out their first single, “Stay Awhile” and have been regularly releasing music since. The band’s music develops an understanding of shared memories the members have experienced from growing up together. 

The Band Solstice developed a home base in Knoxville, TN and hit the road on their first tour in Fall of 2024 “The Mile Dive Tour”.

In October 2024 the band sold out their first headline ticketed show in Knoxville at the Pilot Light.
