ABOUT THE BAND

The Band Solstice is an indie-rock quintet from Knoxville, TN, blending folk and alternative
rock with indie energy and soul. Formed in 2019 by lifelong friends Marty Gee, Grayson
Strader, Jackson Frazier, Maddox Frazier, and Jacob Greene, their sound draws inspiration
from acts like Kings of Leon and Dawes, channeling the nostalgia of shared memories
through every song with their own unique style. Their 2022 single “Stay Awhile” started a
steady and maturing stream of releases, which has most recently been augmented by their
2026 self-titled album, “The Band Solstice.” Success from years of touring led to a
confident “Album Release Tour” adorned with sold-out shows and notable festival slots at

Treefort Music Fest and Summerfest.

In addition to their headline performances, they have also earned their fanbase by
supporting several well-known artists, sharing the stage with Winyah, Sun Room, WILLIS,
Penelope Road, Happy Landing, Congress The Band, Cardinal Bloom and Harvey Street, among others.
Working with Triple 8 Management, Too Fine Records, Atlas Touring, and Xander
Johnson’s media skillset has catalyzed the band’s growth. Their single “Mile Dive” was
featured on Spotify’s curated playlist Fresh Finds Indie, marking their first major playlist
placement, and jump-starting an online momentum that has garnered hundreds of
thousands of listeners and millions of streams that have translated well into concert
attendance and fan enthusiasm. The Band Solstice continues to tour North America, playing
their fan-favorite releases while previewing writing for their upcoming projects and live

session recordings.
